is loaded with washed sand and is being metered by the fluted drum.
Distribution rate is monitored and controlled by on-board computer. Note the
rear drive wheels have left imprints in the heated asphalt surface. |

piston wheel motor has been modified to accept an electronic pickup, used to
accurately monitor ground speed. Note the large diameter king pin bearings
(above and below the motor) for long service life and reduced grease washout
due to the high asphalt surface temperatures. |

Enviro-Paver®
R-1015 Model 2004 General
Cab Interior with integrated, "Hall effect" Sensor
Joy Stick Controllers built into the Operator Seat. These Rotary
Position Sensors in the Joy Sticks use a magnetically biased "Hall
Effect" Integrated Circuit (IC) to accurately sense Rotary Movement
of the Actuator Shaft. Rotation of the Actuator Shaft changes the
"Hall Effect" IC's position relative to the magnets. The
output of the IC is converted to a linear output over 90° travel.
The benefits of these sealed Joy Sticks are long service life, low torque
actuation, greatly reduced wear-out mechanisms and durability in harsh
environments. They are ideal for cranes, construction
vehicles and equipment. The Joy Sticks incorporate Front and Rear
Steering and Cab/Boom functions. |
